THE BOOM がデビューして25年。ホコ天時代からライブを積み重ねたきたTHE BOOM のライブで、最も多く歌われたきたのがデビューアルバム『A Peacetime Boom』に収録されている「星のラブレター」。1,300回以上THE BOOM のライブでは歌われてきている曲で、1989年以来、新録されていないこともあり、25年振りに新しい息吹を吹き込んだ音源がいち早く届く。現在、綾瀬はるかが出演する日本生命のCMに、女性ボーカリストのTAMARUさんが歌うバージョンが使われている。カップリングは、サッカーワールカップ前のタイミングということもあり、「風になりたい」を収録。「風になりたい」に関しては、2013年5月に行われたZepp Tokyoでのライブ音源 (DVDとは違うミックス音源)。
