中村中 9thアルバム発売!! 前作『るつぼ』は、現代社会におこる「おかしなこと」をテーマに制作。今作は言わばその続編で、「社会に蔓延る問題」から「日常に潜む問題」に視点を移し制作。ひとりで生きられない未熟な子供に、日々の苛立ちをぶつける大人もまた未熟。今作にはそんな「人間の未熟さ」が歌われている。前作発売から一年の間で書き下ろされた楽曲群にはオルタナティブ・ロックの匂いがあり、その世界観を具現化するべくサウンドプロデューサーとして中村中が指名したのは、ギタリストで映画音楽も手がける音楽家の石井マサユキ氏。アルバムのキーワード「日常」の手触りを表すべく、大半の曲が中村中と石井マサユキのギターアンサンブルがサウンドの主軸になっており、シリアスなテーマとは裏腹に生楽器の温かみを感じられるサウンドとなっている。2019年夏に出演した劇団KAKUTAの舞台『らぶゆ』では「他人だらけの疑似家族」を演じた中村中の、その経験から生まれた「うれしい」や、2019年6月20日に急逝したミュージシャン仲間であるヨースケ＠HOMEこと宮内陽輔に捧げた「会いたいひと」など、全10曲を収録した渾身のアルバム。
