39枚目となるシングルは、NHK2013年度 後期 朝の連続テレビ小説『ごちそうさん』主題歌「雨のち晴レルヤ」と、東京駅開業100周年記念映画『すべては君に逢えたから』主題歌「守ってあげたい」の両A面タイアップシングル!! 「雨のち晴レルヤ」は、大正～昭和時代の日本を舞台に、女優・杏演じる卯野め以子が、食欲と愛情を原動力にたくましく人生を生きていく姿を描く。そんなドラマの世界観をさらに広げるべく、同曲にはトランペット、ピアニカ、篠笛など、哀愁と叙情感ある"和テイスト"を引き立たせる様々な楽器が登場。作詞は北川悠仁。作曲は北川悠仁主導のもと、制作の過程で出会った篠笛奏者・佐藤和哉氏が手掛けるインストゥルメンタル楽曲の秀逸なメロディを引用し完成。 対となる「守ってあげたい」は、ストリングス、ピアノ、アコースティックギターを基軸に"大切なひとを守りたい"という強い想いを歌ったラブバラード。カップリングには、岩沢厚治の作詞・作曲による「飛行機雲」を収録。繊細なギターアルペジオから静かに幕をあけ、岩沢厚治特有の滑らかに入り込んでくるメロディと透明な歌声。ふいに空を見上げたり、ふと自分があの場所にいるかのように錯覚してしまう、心象風景あふれる歌詞が染み渡る。
