10月10日よりスタートのテレビ朝日系金曜ナイトドラマ『サラリーマン金太郎』主題歌となっており、ゆずがすべての人に贈るドラマの勢いに負けないくらいポジティブな応援ソング! 今までメンバーそれぞれが独自に楽曲を制作していた為、歌詞の共作ですらほとんど無かったゆずが、なんと史上初の試みで詞、曲とも共作で楽曲を作成。岩沢の確信的でシニカルな世界観と、北川の持つポップセンスが織り混ざる、渾身の化学反応! 「シシカバブー」という非常にシュールで意味深なタイトルだが、 憂鬱や退屈な気分を吹き飛ばす、前向きでポジティブな気持ちになれるナンバー。プロデュースは、前作「Yesterday and Tomorrow」に続き、 現在日本のヒットチャートを賑わす注目のプロデューサー蔦谷好位置を起用。一度聴いたら耳を離れない印象的なブラスフレーズから始まる、激しくもトリッキーな要素が随所に組み込まれた、ハイセンスでグルーヴ感溢れるサウンドになっている。ジャケットのイラストは「サラリーマン金太郎」作者の本宮ひろ志が直々にゆずの二人を描き下ろし! カップリング収録の北川作「ボサ箱根」はタイトルから想像されるように、ボサノバ調の心地よいサウンドに乗せて、箱根旅行の素晴らしさを語った(!?)斬新でユーモアセンス溢れる楽曲。岩沢作の「使い捨て世代」は現代社会が抱える色々な問題にもポジティブに、肩の力を抜いて一歩ずつ進んで行こう、というメッセージを軽快なリズムに乗せて唄った、刹那的でありながら前向きな弾き語りポップナンバー。曲中では、メンバー自ら初のウクレレに挑戦!
