[Machine Translation] Kitri, a unit of two sisters playing piano together, released their second EP, their second major label release. Following their debut song "Rashitori", which they say "showed our determination to take on a new world on the occasion of our major label debut," the lead song on this EP is "Contradiction", which they say "represents our challenge and challenge to ourselves. Primo" refers to the first player who is in charge of the high part of the piano string quartet, and "Secondo" refers to the second player. This work is a sequel to the first EP "Primo", which embodied the "challenge" of evolving from "determination". Ohashi Trio also participated in the production of this album as a producer. In addition, Shumpei Kamiya participated in the arrangement, percussion, and programming of "Kantoritsu" following "Rashitori". The world view is enhanced by the participation of bassist Zero Kondo, a well-known member of the Ohashi Trio live tour, and a string quartet string ensemble. Hina plays acoustic guitar, glockenspiel, and other instruments on the same song. The album contains five songs that boldly challenge the theme of the album, including "Contradictory Rhythm," which powerfully unfolds a worldview that draws the listener into a mysterious world of festivals, "Awakening," with the passionate interplay of the two sisters playing together, and "The End Continues," which draws the listener in with its unique chorus of sisters.

姉妹によるピアノ連弾ユニットKitri (キトリ)の、メジャー作品第2弾となる2nd EP。"メジャーデビューを機に新しい世界へ挑む、自分達の決意を示した"というデビュー曲の「羅針鳥」に続き、今作、"自分たちの挑戦、チャレンジを込めた"と語る楽曲「矛盾律」をリード曲とする。"Primo"はピアノ連弾の高音部を担当する第1奏者を指し、"Secondo"は第2奏者。まさに今作は"決意"から、進化を遂げる"挑戦"を体現した1st EP『Primo』の続編とも言える作品。今作もプロデューサーとして大橋トリオが参加。また、今作をけん引する「矛盾律」では「羅針鳥」に続き神谷洵平が編曲に参加、パーカッション、プログラミングを担当してる。その他、大橋トリオライブツアーでおなじみのベーシスト近藤零、その他、弦カルテットによるストリングスアンサンブルの参加により世界観を引き立てている。同曲でHinaはアコースティックギターやグロッケン等を披露。不思議な世界のお祭りに引き込むような世界観をパワフルに繰り広げる「矛盾律」、連弾の熱い掛け合いで魅せる「目醒」、姉妹ならではのコーラスを活かし聴き手を引き込む「終わりのつづき」など、今作のテーマ通りの果敢な挑戦が込められた5曲が収録されている。
